Mike Turner's Bio (on 2p-7p, BTW)
I hail from the East Side of Indianapolis. Some Indy newscasts refer to it as the “Far East Side”, which makes it sound more exotic than it is.

I am the eldest of four, but that in no way makes me the wisest. I am the tallest, though.
I am a distinguished alumnus of The Fighting Cardinals of THE Ball State University – Roll Cards!
I am a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana Pacers and Cincinnati Reds. Can’t quite get into hockey. You’ll have to make a compelling argument for me.
I have sympathies with the Cincinnati Bearcats (parents met at UC - that was kind of important) and Purdue Boilermakers (dad got his Master’s there – kind of a smart guy).
I am a fan of good sandwiches, cold beer and warm coffee. Bacon is always awesome.
I enjoy jogging. I’m not sure if my knees do.
Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” is the best overall album of all time, but the best flat-out RAWK album is AC/DC’s “Back In Black”. Out of sight.
My favorite rock bands? AC/DC, The Ramones, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Tom Petty and White Stripes.
Favorite guitarists: Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Angus Young
They call Ozzy the Prince of Darkness, but I suspect it’s Mick Jagger. How else do you explain “Sympathy for the Devil”, the Stones still being together and Keith Richards still being alive? Just a thought.
Five favorite films: “Pulp Fiction”, “The Godfather”, “Jaws”, “Goodfellas” and “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly”. “This Is Spinal Tap” is my favorite comedy. Best director in Hollywood right now is Christopher Nolan. Clint Eastwood is a bad-ass.
“South Park” is the funniest thing put on TV in the last 15 years. Homer Simpson, though, is my all-time favorite TV character.
People on reality TV shows are the furthest from actual reality.
I read many books, but Elmore Leonard’s my favorite author. Telling a lot of story on very few words is a talent.
Two quotes I like:
1) "We're lousy, we can't play. If you wait until you can play, you'll be too old to get up there." - Johnny Ramone
2) "The question 'What would you do differently?'...is not only a foolish but costly indulgence. The useful question is, 'What will you do now?'" - David Mamet

There’s some other stuff, too – but it would bore you to tears. So I guess I’ll just thank you for listening.
