Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” Remixed with St. Anger Snare Drum (Ugh!)

From LOUDWIRE:

Endlessly debated and widely regarded as their worst album (aside from  ’Lulu,’ their collaboration with Lou Reed), St. Anger was a departure for the band with its raw production style, most notably the much-discussed snare sound. It also captured a turbulent period in the band’s history, with the departure of bassist Jason Newsted and fronman James Hetfield’s battle with addiction, all of which was showcased in the documentarySome Kind of Monster. YouTube user data_dreams 2000 recently posted the track with the caption, “I was bored, so I replaced all the snare hits with the St. Anger snaredrum. You’re welcome.” While we are not so thankful, it is good to hear to appreciate the classic Metallica song the way it was meant to be heard on the 1986 album Master of Puppets.
