So many folks care about their looks that when they aren’t at their best, they won’t go out in public. It’s Harley here and that’s not the case for me. I left TV news for that very reason. I’m super confident in who I am, so pimples don’t bother me, but I have a few friends who won’t go out if they find one.
A new survey done by PR Newswire found that one out of four people or 25% have cancelled a date over a pimple. It has to do with their confidence and how they think the other person will perceive them for this imperfection.
This same survey found that 21% of kids have missed school, 16% have missed work and 24% have missed a party over a pimple on their face.
My advice is to be confident in who you are and own your imperfections because the people you want in your life will love you for who you are!
