As a Colts’ fan, I had some fun with Tom Brady, Coach Belichick and, um, balls.

Pats’ tackle, Nate Solder, however, had a bit of a scare with one of his, as he revealed recently to ESPN that he had testicular cancer last year.

The good news for Solder? They caught in time, removed it and he was back with his teammates to prepare for the upcoming season.

The bad news for rest of the the NFL? That season led to a fourth Pats’ Lombardi.

In all seriousness, Solder’s using his roller coaster year to spread awareness of testicular cancer, which is a good thing. I’m glad he’s okay, much like I’m glad a certain Horseshoe Coach is winning his battle for a few years now with leukemia.

Guys, no matter what team you root for, make sure you check your boys and stay in good health. – Mike
